This Schedule incorporates the Faraday Intelligence Master Terms of Service by reference.

This Schedule governs the Faraday Daily Challenge™ at faradaydailychallenge.com (also reachable at faraday-intelligence.ai/challenge).

The Faraday Intelligence Master Terms of Service are incorporated into this Schedule by reference and apply in full. This Schedule adds terms specific to the Daily Challenge. Where this Schedule conflicts with the Master Terms, this Schedule controls for the Daily Challenge only, and only to the extent of the conflict. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Master Terms.

DC-1. Minimum age and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to play the Daily Challenge, create an account, or submit an email address. We ask for your age category at sign-up and we do not knowingly collect an email address from anyone under 16.

If you are under 16, do not register. If you believe a person under 16 has registered, tell us through the Feedback page and we will delete the account and its associated email address. Players who misstate their age may have their account, scores, and standings removed without notice.

The Daily Challenge is open to individuals only. Automated players, scripted clients, and shared accounts are prohibited.

DC-2. Game rules

Puzzles are published on a daily schedule in the America/Chicago time zone. Each game type is playable once per calendar day per account; the first submitted attempt is the one that scores. Puzzles rotate and retire on that daily cycle, and a retired puzzle may become unavailable.

You may not manipulate play or standings, including by using automation or scripts, holding multiple accounts, exploiting a defect, sharing answers before the day rolls over, or interfering with another player's session. We may void scores, reset standings, suspend accounts, and remove teams for any of these.

Hints are budgeted per game per day. Hint use is recorded for analytics and does not change your score.

Puzzle content, answers, hints, and explanations are Faraday content under Section 4 of the Master Terms. Publishing a day's answers before that day has rolled over is a breach of these terms.

DC-3. Leaderboards, teams, seasons, and display names

Scores, points totals, Intelligence Readiness runs, display names (handles), team names, and organisation labels you choose may be displayed publicly within the Service, including on leaderboards visible to other players. Choose a handle and team name you are comfortable displaying. We may rename or remove any name that is offensive, misleading, impersonating, or infringing.

Seasons open and close, rosters may be frozen ahead of playoffs, and standings are computed from your recorded play within a season's date window. Leaderboard standings, season results, playoff outcomes, and any recognition attached to them are determined by Faraday and are final. We may recompute or correct standings where a scoring defect, void, or data correction requires it.

Teams: you may belong to a limited number of teams per season, a team has a captain, and captaincy may pass to another member automatically when a captain leaves. Team messaging and broadcasts are subject to the in-app conduct and rate-limit rules.

DC-4. Scores, points, and in-game mechanics have no cash value

Points, scores, streaks and Intelligence Readiness runs, multipliers, leaderboard positions, team standings, badges, and any other in-game mechanic are in-game mechanics only. They:

  • have no cash value and no value outside the Daily Challenge;
  • are not currency, not stored value, and not redeemable for cash, credit, or property;
  • are not transferable between accounts, and may not be sold, traded, or purchased; and
  • may be adjusted, reset, expired, or discontinued by Faraday, including at the end of a season.

*(Historical note: an earlier in-game unit abbreviated "MW" was retired from the Daily Challenge in July 2026 and no longer exists. Any reference to it in older material is superseded by this Schedule.)*

DC-5. Rewards, Faraday tokens, and no purchase necessary

Some Daily Challenge milestones grant Faraday tokens, which are usable within Faraday products. Tokens granted this way are a promotional reward.

  • NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO PLAY THE DAILY CHALLENGE, TO EARN A REWARD, OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES. Play is free; scoring is determined solely by your recorded play.
  • Rewards are granted automatically by Faraday's systems when the stated conditions are met. Grants are subject to caps and anti-abuse limits, are verified server-side against Faraday's records, and are void where prohibited or restricted by law and where the recipient is ineligible.
  • Tokens are not stored value. They are a limited licence to access content and features, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-transferable. Token terms — including the open question of expiry and forfeiture — are set out in Schedule BL (Briefing Library) and apply to tokens however they were obtained, including tokens earned here.
  • Faraday may modify, suspend, or withdraw any reward programme prospectively at any time. Rewards already granted to your account are not clawed back except in cases of fraud, abuse, or a verified grant error.
  • Any tax consequence of a reward is yours.

Faraday does not currently offer a sweepstakes, contest of chance, or cash or merchandise prize through the Daily Challenge. If one is ever offered, it will be governed by separate published official rules, which will control over this Schedule for that promotion.

DC-6. Content and conduct

Handles, team names, messages, broadcasts, and feedback you submit must not be unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or infringing. Faraday may remove content, restrict messaging, and suspend accounts. Reports of abuse are reviewed by staff; the outcome of a report is not disclosed to the reporter.

Team broadcasts and direct messages are subject to published rate limits, and blocking another player prevents direct messages in both directions but does not suppress team announcements.

DC-7. Availability

Puzzle availability depends on daily publication and rotation. A missed day, a delayed rotation, or an outage does not entitle you to a restored streak, a retroactive score, or compensation, and the Daily Challenge is provided free of charge.

DC-8. Nothing here is advice

Puzzle content, hints, explanations, editorial takes, and the daily Signal reference real companies, facilities, jurisdictions, markets, and events for educational and entertainment purposes. Section 7 (No advice and no reliance) and Section 8 (Scores, forecasts, and vintages) of the Master Terms apply in full. Nothing in the Daily Challenge is investment, legal, engineering, siting, or permitting advice.

Incorporation by reference

The Faraday Intelligence Master Terms of Service are incorporated into this Schedule and apply in full to your use of Faraday Daily Challenge. Read them together with this document.
